Antoine Corriveau presents Part 2 of the documentary about his latest album, PISSENLIT, which is critically acclaimed both here and in France. In this film directed by Antoine Bordeleau, the duo talks about the aftermath of the album release during a road trip that leads them to the lower St. Lawrence River.
Antoine Bordeleau: Do you think that the album, as a physical object, is still relevant?
Antoine Corriveau: Personally, I make albums while thinking about making an album. I find it boring otherwise, it’s boring to just record songs, singles… You have to see each song as one of the keys of a whole that adds up to something. And if you only grab one key, well… You can only open one door and […] the experience is incomplete.
