Alexandra Stréliski is thrilled to announce that her concerts with the Montreal Symphony Orchestra will indeed happen this year, on July 2 and 3. These concerts, which were supposed to take place this month, had to be postponed because of the health crisis and are already sold-out for the in-venue seats. In order to offer this amazing experience to a wider audience – the Friday July 2nd concert will be presented live, online – and will be available worldwide until July 16.

Stréliski performed on Star Académie last night. She movingly played music inspired by the Oscar ceremony. The set notably included her composition “Prélude”, which was featured in the film Dallas Buyers Club and at the Oscars when Matthew McConaughey accepted his award; Adele’s “Skyfall”, Eminem’s “Lose Yourself”, and more. The climax was a double-piano performance of “Plus tôt” with Alex McMahon.
